Dear Pursuers,

I pray this letter finds you doing well.

If you weren’t able to be at Sunday’s Celebration Service, Alex and Erin Diaz made an important announcement.  They shared how God has made it clear to them that He is moving them in a new direction and they are stepping up and following His calling.  Alex shared:

“Two  years ago, I joined The Pursuit without knowing God had a plan for my family and me that would require us to take the current steps. Today, it seems clear to me that our Lord is ready for me to forge ahead with the vision that He is laying in my heart.

It is not without pain that I face this transition. The Pursuit has been a good church for my family and for me, and there will always be good memories and great friends there. I fully expect to maintain those friendships in the years to come. At the same time, I am also excited to discover the new path Jesus is building in front of us.

I wish The Pursuit many blessings and successes in the years to come. I will keep you in my prayers and I know many more will find their way back to God through this ministry.”

We will miss Alex and Erin but we also celebrate in advance what God is going to do through them in this new journey.

This Friday, October 16 at The Pursuit in Pembroke Pines, we invite everyone to stop by as we host a reception for the Diaz family.  Feel free to stop by at any time between 7-9 p.m. to celebrate them and let them know how much they have meant to you.  Light snacks will be available.

Look for more information in the coming weeks regarding where God is leading The Pursuit, not just in Pembroke Pines, but also in other parts of South Florida!
